A Poly Tank or FRP? 

Many people are unaware of the relative advantages of poly and FRP. Both work – both will store clean, taste-free water. But the best choice for you will depend on your situation and needs. For example, if you live in a bushfire-prone area or the water tank is to be used as part of a fire-fighting system, FRP will

be better suited because of its higher tensile strength (8 times stronger than poly at 25oC and 15 times stronger at 75 oC). On the other hand, if significant ground movement is possible, then the greater elasticity of poly makes it the material of choice.
